Riettalon's Tactical Autoshot build

http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/classes/hunter/talents.html?5000000000000000000000550000200000000000000320502510302312501351

This Suvival based talent build focuses on making every shot highly
efficiant by way of talents that have a % chance on hit to activate.
The core of the build focuses on just a few talents but is disigned to
increase the strength and efficiantcy of your auto shots saving you mana
and allowing you to time your stronger shots when they are most needed.
Its main goal is to maintain Expose Weakness on an enemy for as long as
possilbe as such it uses highspeed bows in order to get more critical shots.
Weather its an all out dps assult against a raid boss, carefuly managing
your damage output to not draw agro, or protecting others by pulling agro
and traping enemys this build can do it all.

Core Talents (in order of importance)
Improved hunters Mark: Adds 100% of hunters marks attack power to
melee attacks. The benifit here is that this build focuses
on high speed bows. This will max the attack power benifit of
hunters mark verry quickly not only increasing the damage
you do with each shot but also the damage your pet and all
other non casters deal to that target as well.

Expose Weakness: On ranged critical hit causes an Expose Weakness
effect on the target increasing attack power against that
target by 25% of your agility. This coupled with high speed
ranged attacks and critical hit gear can be maintained on
an enemy for most of the fight adding significant extra
damage. Like Hunters Mark its most effective agains large
instance or raid bosses were many people are hitting the
same target thus all getting the additional attack power.

Master Tactitian: Procs on ranged attacks and gives you an
additional 10% chance to criticaly hit your enemy. This
is verry powerful as it will not only support applying
Expose Weakness but aslo provide a serious boost to dps.
Again this build focuses on high speed bows as the more
shots the more often talents like this will activate and
the more shots you'll get wile they are active.

Supportive Talents
Improved Aspect of the Hawk: Increases attack speed by 15%. Attack
speed is critical to this build a fast bow activating this
regularly will help in activating the other important
talents.

Rapid Killing: Reduces the cooldown time of Rapid Fire by 2 sec.
so you can activate Rapid Fire more often. Also adds a nice
+20% damage to your next shot after killing a target.

Readyness: Instantly recharges all skills. This is powerful when used
well. Two Rapid Killings in a row will seriouly amplfy your
dps but its also helpful for getting off a second trap and
Wyvren Sting to help with croud control. Even a second Fien
Death could save your life.

Lightning Reflexes: +15% agility. For the puposes of this build it
adds 15% more base attack power as well as critical strike
chance supporting all shots and relivent talents.

Leathal Shots: +5% critical strike chance. Supports Expose Weakness.

Killer Instinct: +3% critical strike chance. Supports Expose Weakness.

Surefooted: +3% hit chance. Supports all shots.

Hawkeye: Increases attack range by 6 yards. Allows you to stand still
longer wile your target runs around insuring more hits with
less down time from movement.

That covers the major talents in the build the rest are primarily melee
support talents to increase parry rate, Hp, reduce the cost of traps and
melee skills, increase the effectivness of traps, increase damage delt and
reduce damage taken. These are most effective when solo farming and questing
to save ammo (and thus money) by fighting in melee. Sure you'll take some
damage but nothing a little food or a good bandage wont fix.

Ok time for the Pros and Cons
Pros:
1.High speed weapons in all cases take best advantage of on
hit bonuses such as increases to attack power, Pure damage
increases (scopes for bows, enchants and sharpening/wieted
stones for melee), and critical chance.

2. The high speed bows deal less damage on each hit and
have lower critical strike damage (but more of them). This
results in less agro allowing your pet to tank longer and
letting you better control larger fights wile still pouring
out the damage.

3. The large agility bonus and melee support allow you to
survive melee far better than in other builds so even if
a rouge gets the drop on you. You'll still have plenty of
time to recover counter attack and get some distance.

4. The Improved Traps, Wyvren Sting, and Readyness ammount
to great croud control. Wile its no replacement for a good
ice mage or a lock its always helpfull and your team mates
will love you for it.

Cons:
1. High speed bows are rare. Most just under 2.5. There is
a excelent pvp reward bow at level 60 called the Grand
Marshals Bullseye with a speed of 1.8 so Id highly suggest
getting ahold of it as I've seen nothing yet that compares
to its speed over level 60.

2. Even if you managed to get a good fast bow they are
expencive in several ways. One is rarity so if you find one
it will probably cost you (i've seen the hurricane go for
300g+ in the auction hall). Two they go threw ammo quickly
not so fast that your likely to run out in a instance but
you'll definatly want the largest quiver you can get your
hands on and fully stock it every time you get to town.
Thirdly as with all good bows you'll want to scope one once
you do get it to make full use of its speed. Just more money
out of your pocket.

3. The last problem with a high speed survival build is that
few people realize how powerful and helpful they can be. So
when faced with the average player who belives slower is
better you may find yourself excluded from the occational
group now that talents can be inspected. But dont be to put
off. Anyone that would exclude you purely on your build and
not on your playing skill is probably not someone youd want
to be playing with anyway.

One last comment to wrap things up. An issue of equipment priorities. In
general armor and weapons with +attack power will be better than +agility.
The reasoning is simple. Currently ranged attack power is 1 agility to 1rap.
So a piece of armor like the Black Dragonscale Brestplate with +50
attack power will be more helpful in general than armor with 20+ agility.
This is because your normaly fighting at a distance so the extra armor and
dodge is only being used lets say 25% of the time wile the increased dps of
the +attack power will be used 100% of the time weather at range or in melee.
Agility is still important for the critical hits in this build and so you'll
still want as much as you can get but dont forget the math. In my example
the Black Dragonscale Breastplate gives over twice the attackpower. Odds are
you wont find a chest piece that matches the attackpower boost unless it has
both agility and attackpower (like the dungeon, raid, pvp, and arena sets)
Also with this build I suggest getting ahold of at least 4 pieces of
Beastmaster armor this gives your shots a 4% chance to generate 200 mana.
With the high speed attacks this means alot more arcane and multi shots.
